Challenges
The team started the super app initiative by introducing a shortcut on the Gojek homepage, allowing users to access the 3rd party partner's microsite. This pilot test managed to introduce the concept and gauge user demand. However, in order to fully scale this initiative, there are several key issues that needs to be solved.

Discovery
Conducted assessments of external partners' user journeys and audited their UX patterns to identify opportunities for standardization.
Design & Test
Designed a design component library and UX templates, followed by conducting user tests to evaluate their effectiveness in supporting the user journeys.
Development
Collaborated closely with the PM and Engineering teams to develop the component library and successfully launched it for use by external partners

Impact
Users can now experience a consistent and seamless UX when using the 3rd party services within the Gojek platform. The introduction of the new design system has proven instrumental in empowering external partners to iterate their solutions more efficiently, resulting in substantial reductions in both time and effort to integrate their services with the Gojek platform.
